Very good piece of software. It did the work really well. The only problem that I had was that, because I chose to make the cloned partition bootable, XXCLONE made changes to the MBR (master boot record), which made it impossible for me to access my Ubuntu section. As a result of this I had to reinstall my Ubuntu grub, which was quite an ordeal. I suggest that XXCLONE adds the cloned bootable section to the MBR, but not change it completely. Otherwise, everything else went without a hitch.

This software saved me from losing over 500gb of data. Thus, i must say it's a STUPID idea not to have this software on your machine at all times.Get a few harddrives, and clone your machine occassionally using XXCLONE - you will never have to worry about your computer's reliability ever again.

saved me hundreds of dollars! I was looking at acronis server edition -- I wanted to clone my system disk so that I could quickly reboot if my system disk failed. I now have a cloned, spun-down disk in a SATA bay ready to be powered up and rebooted if my server fails -- perfect. The only odd thing was that when I copied teh boot record to my new clone, for some reason the original disk would no longer boot. I copied boot records back to that one, and everything was fine. OK for moving your appli to large disk but... I have used xxclone to move my previous Windows XP system to a larger disk (300Gbytes).Globally I finally made it run, but I had to face some issues, some of them not really related to xxclone but mandatory for the achievement of the move :- xxclone offers the ability to move from FAT 32 to NTFS, but take care! the security features associated to NTFS, won't follow, then the only mode for running your new system will be to give administrator right to all users .... or to try to fine tune security right (I gave up). You would make a lot of money if you figured out how to swap the fn key with ctrl key on the new mavbook pro's using bootcamp vista. I would pay $50 for this ability because the way the macbook's control button is placed, it hurts my hand. Most just say to live with it. I think it's pathetic no one can figure it out. If we could land on the moon, why can't we remap the darn fn key!James

Easy to use and fast to process I programmatically take many videos, cut and join them into a big one, selecting the encoder that I want. I´m using C# to do this. This tool is very easy to use, the help is clean and very useful! The developer interface could be better, but it´s not a big problem...Congratulations to x360soft!
